5 Questions withKurt Brown

By Cathy Aveta

CA: What was the best concert you’ve ever attended?

KB: I was just speaking about this recently.  It has to be seeing The Who in 1982 at Shea Stadium.  The Clash and David Johansen (after New York Dolls but before Buster Poindexter) opened for them.  The best part was to see the concert from the Doubleday Sports Skybox.

CA: Who is your favorite TV/movie lawyer?

KB: I was never into legal TV shows like L.A. Law, but if I had to pick the performance of an actor portraying a lawyer, it has to be Gregory Peck playing Atticus Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird.

CA: What’s the weirdest job you’ve ever had?

KB: I wouldn't necessarily call it weird, but at 13, I delivered milk and the driver would drop me off at grammar school some times by assembly, sometimes not.

CA: What are some of your pet peeves?

KB: I hate when someone says "to make a long story short", because it never happens that way.

CA: Where is the best place you’ve traveled?

KB: This is a tough one, because anyone who knows me knows that I am into travel and photography.  If I had to pick just one, it would probably be the Galápagos Islands.  We would island hop and see so many unique animals and foliage.
