NJALA Monthly Meeting and Educational Session

"As Easy As 1,2,3—A Back to Basics for the Non-Financial Legal Professional"

Presented by Frederick J. Esposito, Jr., MBA, CLM

Numbers are scary—especially for the non-financial manager!  However, during challenging economic times when there is financial uncertainty at every organization level, it's a topic legal administrators must understand.  Attend this session to review fundamental accounting concepts and basic financial reports that will strengthen your knowledge in these areas to improve your firm's financial position.

Key Outcomes & Takeaways

After the presentation, participants will:

  • Identify key finance terminology and basic accounting principles;
  • Read financial statements and determine how they relate to one another;
  • Review chart of accounts, cash versus profit and break-even analysis;
  • Explain financial forecasting.
