"Privacy and Security Training: Obligations of Confidentiality and Safekeeping"

This presentation will arm your organization with the knowledge to foil hackers by recognizing risks that invite cyber attacks.  You will learn about proper handling of sensitive data, adoption of policies and a training regimen, and implementing security policies.  This session is geared to all individuals, with or without and IT background.

Mark McCreary is a Partner and the Chief Privacy Officer at Fox Rothschild LLP, a national law firm with more than 900 attorneys in 27 offices coast to coast. He is also Co-Chair of the firm’s Privacy & Data Security Practice. As CPO, Mark directs and maintains the firm’s ongoing commitment to protecting the confidential and personal information of clients and employees. He has extensive experience advising businesses on data privacy and security issues. In addition to practicing intellectual property and the law of the internet, Mark serves as the firm’s Corporate Administrative Partner in Philadelphia. Mark earned the rigorous CIPP/US certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals and has been named a Trailblazer in cybersecurity law by The National Law Journal.

Buffet dinner will be served.  NJALA members in good standing attend free of charge.  Guests (persons employed in an administrative capacity in a law firm) are invited to attend this program. The cost for each guest is $75.  You may also register your guest at the link below.
