NJALA Monthly Meeting and Education Session

"Get Off My Plate! The Art of Delegating"

Presented by Kathleen Brady, PCC, Director of Coaching
 Preferred Transition Resources

Given the sheer volume of projects and tasks likely assigned to you, learning how to delegate is an essential skill to master. The truth is you probably can do most tasks better and faster, but if you hold on to the belief that there is a correlation between the amount of control you exert over a project and the quality of the results, you may unwittingly sabotage your career. The sooner you learn how to delegate, the faster you will be able to streamline your efforts and free yourself up to perform tasks of greater value to your organization. During this entertaining yet practical presentation, we will explore the positive and negative aspects of delegating and provide you with tactical strategies to help you mobilize the forces around you, maximize your leverage, and maybe even find a little spare time to enjoy your life.

Kathleen Brady is a certified career/life management coach, author and educator with more than 25 years of experience helping professionals - from entry level through retirement - identify and integrate their personal and professional goals.
