Presented by: G. Mitchel Hartman and Sandy Hartman of Dale Carnegie Training Location: The Highlawn Pavilion, West Orange, NJ We have all met people who always seem to know what to say and how to say it in any situation. These "special" people know how to communicate with diplomacy, tact and confidence. Research conducted by ZERORISK HR indicates that one of the five emotional intelligence competencies that successful leaders employ is called “social skills and political correctness." The ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact will improve the leadership skills of law firm administrators by helping them to manage change, negotiate and compromise, resolve conflicts, gain consensus and collaboration and createa cohesive team. This competency is important in all areas of life, not just at the office! Join us on March 9th as our two speakers give NJALA Chapter members the opportunity to practice dealing with trying situations in a confident and diplomatic way. Mitchel and Sandy Hartman will teach us how to speak honestly and tactfully, give and receive constructive feedback and use mediation skills to help others find common ground when holding opposing viewpoints. |
